Hello all of you, My name is Divya from Hyderabad. Today I am going to share you one of the favorite and most popular biryani recipe in Hyderabad. Hyderabadi Biryani is a dish from down the south but spread all across the country even abroad also. This recipe is a world famous dish from India.
Preparation method of Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani:
· Clean the chicken and add Ginger garlic paste, Chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, turmeric powder, chicken marsala and curd.
· Keep aside for about 30 to 40 minutes.
· Add sufficient oil and fry chopped onions till golden brown Colour. Remove from oil.
· Now drop the marinated chicken in that oil and keep it aside.
· Take Basmati rice in another vessel, add whole garam marsala, biryani leaves, salt and allow it to cook.
· When rice is half cooked, strain it.
· Cook the chicken and add coriander leaves and Pudina
· Add the half boiled rice and fried onions.
· Add remaining rice and onions layer by layer and cover the vessel with a lid (don't allow pressure to go out).
· Reduce flame in low and cook for 20 to 30 min.
· Finally, add lime juice mixed with turmeric powder through small holes made in the rice.
· Chicken Dum Biryani is to Serve
